Vann’s Ferry Animal Hospital, established April 2019, is a joint venture with
Healthy Paws For A Cause to provide services to all companion animals, both privately
owned and rescued. We have listened to client concerns for the increasing costs of
veterinary care and, thus, pet ownership. At Vann’s Ferry Animal Hospital we offer
quality veterinary services at an affordable price.
Vann’s Ferry Animal Hospital is named after James Vann (February 1766-February 1809), a prominent Cherokee leader, trader, and entrepreneur in the late 18th century. James Vann operated the first ferry boat across the Chattahoochee River, connecting what is now Hall County and Forsyth County. This trade route ultimately led to the formation of Cumming.
